Above mentioned drivers (Prolific and VSCom) are supporting USB to serial convertors, up to Windows 7. The VSCom is our standard since 2010. Previously, we had several cable type convertors that were usually having a prolific chip.

These drivers are for systems where a PCI card with 2 or 4 serial ports have been installed in the PC. Earlier we had the SWEEX CMPS-PU006 2x serial PCI card. More recently we are using the Sunix SER5037A 2x serial PCI card.
